Additional comments:

The internet is a strange place where phrases like Mama I made it appear constantly on timeline feeds. It is easy to get caught up in the performative nature of social media status updates. Sometimes it feels like people are shouting their achievements into the void of the platform. This meme perfectly captures the collective confusion when a stranger announces their success to an audience that does not know them. We are forced to look at these declarations with a sense of ironic detachment. The comedic bewilderment in the image represents exactly how most people feel when reading these random updates. It is a satirical look at the disconnect between personal milestones and public broadcasts.
