The Feeling of Weightlessness NASA Astronauts Preparing to Go for SpaceWalk Recorded From Twitter Livestream (March 18th)

March 18, 2026

Here on March 18 watch astronauts @Astro_Jessica and @Astro_ChrisW prepare to go on a spacewalk! It’ll be Williams’ first and Meir’s fourth. The duo make preparations to install solar arrays. The event was livestreamed on X/Twitter.

Viewing Experience

The astronauts are weightless and are floating in the space station. It’s cool seeing their tools floating and wires just suspended in the ear without drooping. The female astronauts pony tail is suspended almost as if she’s in water giving a cool effect that comes with weightlessness. A third astronaut joined them shortly before this video and took a photo with his Ipad and it was suspended shortly in the air. One thing I notice is that the pace of movement seems natural and not slowed like you see in the hollywood movies when someone is weightless.

Later on they go outside the space station, livestream link

Aren’t we fortunate to live in an era where we can witness such moments of astronauts on our phones?
