NASA Artemis II SLS and Orion Spacecraft Rollout

Artemis II Preparation at Kennedy Space Center

This image captures the monumental rollout of NASA’s SLS (Space Launch System) and the Orion spacecraft as they emerge from the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

To facilitate this massive move, NASA utilized the upgraded Crawler-Transporter. This colossal machine carefully carries the powerful SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft atop the Mobile Launcher, embarking on its slow journey to Launch Pad 39B in preparation for the highly anticipated Artemis II mission.
